Quinoa Idli/Paniyaram

Ingredients:

  • Quinoa: 1 cup
  • Urad dal: 1/2 cup
  • Rice: 1 cup
  • Fenugreek seeds: 1 tsp
  • Salt as needed

Methods:

  • Soak quinoa, dal, rice, methi seeds for 4-5 hours

  • Grind them together to a smooth paste

  • Leave it overnight or 8 hours to ferment

  • Once the batter is fermented, steam the idlies

  • You can also make paniyarams from the same batter by adding onion, green chillies and ginger to the batter and then frying them in the paniyaram pan.
