Quinoa Halwa

Serves: 4-5 People

Now, you don’t have to compromise with the sweet dish post dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/4th cup milk
  • ½ cup ghee
  • 4-5 cardamom crushed
  • Saffron
  • Silver leaf
  • 1/4th cup raisin
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp besan
  • 1 tsp corn flour

Methods:

  • Heat ghee and roast quinoa, besan and cornflour.

  • On the side, make a syrup of water, sugar, saffron and milk.

  • Add to roasted quinoa and mix well till thick.

  • Remove from heat.

  • Add raisins and mix.

  • Cool and serve with silver leaf.
