One of the fastest ways to cook quinoa is in a rice cooker, it will even stay warm after its done cooking. You can just set it and forget it!
Rinse your quinoa in cold water and drain using a fine mesh strainer until the water is clear and not foamy. Do this for about 2 minutes. Drain and add to the Rice cooker
Add the same quantity of fresh water in your rice cooker. The ratio is 1:1 Add seasonings if required.
Set the cooker to white rice setting and cook. It will be auto timed.
When the cooking cycle is complete, let it sit in the steam for 5-10 minutes.
Fluff with a fork before serving. Your quinoa is ready!
You can add seasonings to this if you want - like salt and pepper.
